PIONEER TROUPE JUNIOR LESSON PROGRAM
The Winston Pioneer Troupe Junior Program offers an introduction to the game of golf. Each troupe is made up of three age-appropriate golf development levels that golf instructors will teach and guide juniors through. Juniors will learn important golf skills and techniques, as well as leadership, sportsmanship, and etiquette.
During your child’s formative years of golf, the emphasis is on physical literacy. Time is spent learning the ABC’S of athleticism (agility, balance, co-ordination and speed) allowing the junior to have control of their own bodies. For this reason, your child may take part in exercises and drills that may seem non-relevant to golf, but are in fact supporting their development. Games and other sports educate your child’s ability to throw a ball, (basic hitting action) catching a ball correctly (hand-eye coordination) and running (dynamic balance). LESSONS
We offer a variety of golf lesson formats including individual lessons, semi-private groups, playing lessons, corporate lesson retreats, and year-long student development lessons.
Whether it's your putting, short game, or full swing that needs some fine tuning, our fully trained PGA of Canada instructors can work with you to give you the confidence you're looking for to improve your game.
LADIES ONLY GOLF LESSONS
All ladies-only lessons are taught by PGA of Canada Golf Professional Kim Valleau, in a comfortable and supportive environment. Members and non-members are welcome - invite your friends! Get more information.
CORPORATE GROUP LESSONS
Are you looking to book a team building group outing for your clients or fellow employees? The Winston Club offers great pricing on group lessons and will guarantee lasting memories for all those who participate.
Rates: (based on a 1-hour session)
- 60-minute group lesson
- 6+ people – $40/person
- half day and full day rates available on request
Following the lesson, you can arrange a sit-down meal for your group for $18/person. This includes a selection from our dining menu, beverage (non-alcohol), taxes, and gratuity.

Junior membership at The Winston is an annual membership open to any child from 6 to 19 years of age as of May 1 of the registration year.
A child interested in joining The Winston as a junior does not have to be in the family of a The Winston member; they are welcome to join as a non-affiliated Junior.
